How do I book a ride with kmcshuttle?
Booking is simple. Choose your route, fill in your trip details, and submit your request. You’ll receive your confirmation via email shortly after.
What is the KMC Area?
The KMC Area (Kaiserslautern Military Community) includes the cities and villages of Ramstein, Kaiserslautern, Landstuhl, Sembach, and surrounding communities. It is the largest U.S. military community outside the United States and serves as the central region for many of our shuttle services.
How far in advance should I book my transfer?
We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance to secure your preferred time. Last-minute bookings are possible depending on availability.
How does airport pickup work?
Your driver monitors your flight in real-time. After landing, you’ll receive a message with instructions and the meeting point (usually Arrivals / Passenger Pickup).
What happens if my flight is delayed?
No stress — we track your flight and adjust the pickup time automatically. Delays caused by the airline do not result in cancellation. A small waiting fee may apply after 30 minutes (see Terms & Conditions).
How many passengers and bags can you take?
Our vehicles accommodate up to 6 passengers. Luggage capacity varies by route, but typically includes: • 6× checked bags • 6× carry-ons Additional or oversized luggage can be added during booking.
Do you offer child seats?
Yes, we offer: • Infant seats • Child seats • Booster seats Each can be added during booking for a small fee.
Are pets allowed on board?
Yes — pets are welcome in approved travel carriers. A small cleaning & pet fee applies.
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay directly to your driver via: • Cash • Credit card (+ €10 fee) • Mobile payment
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes — cancellations follow this policy: • Free up to 48 hours before pickup • 50% fee between 48–24 hours • Full fare within 24 hours Changes are free depending on availability.
Do you offer long-distance transfers?
Yes. We serve long-distance routes such as: Frankfurt • Stuttgart • Luxembourg • Hahn • Strasbourg • Munich • Zürich You can request any custom destination through the form.

Are your drivers licensed and insured?
Absolutely. All our drivers are fully licensed, experienced, and insured. Vehicles are inspected regularly and meet all safety standards.
